Pre-June 2020 A90/A91 Supra ECU/DME Bench Unlock

Tools: 10 mm socket or wrench, small flathead screwdriver or trim tool, painter’s or masking tape, marker, bubble wrap, anti-static bag if available, a snug inner box and a larger outer shipping box.

1. Park on a flat surface, turn the vehicle fully off, remove the key from the vehicle area and allow the modules to sleep. Avoid repeatedly opening doors.
2. Access the trunk battery and disconnect the negative terminal with a 10 mm wrench. Secure the cable away from the post.
3. Locate the ECU/DME near the rear passenger-side cowl area of the engine bay. Remove the necessary plastic covers and photograph the ECU, connectors and wiring orientation.
4. Label the connectors with painter’s tape as Connector 1 through Connector 6 and take photos from multiple angles.
5. Release each connector by its locking lever or tab. Pull from the connector body, never the wiring harness, and do not force a connector.
6. Remove the ECU from its bracket. Do not drop it, touch connector pins, expose it to moisture or static electricity, or place it near metal shavings, chemicals or dirty surfaces.
7. Verify the manufacture date on the ECU label. Stop and contact East Coast Supra if the date is 06/2020 or newer.

Include a printed note containing:

• Customer name, phone and email
• Return shipping address
• Vehicle year and Toyota GR Supra A90/A91 identification
• VIN and ECU date
• Requested service: ECU/DME Bench Unlock
• Tuner: Mikey Botti / BottiTuned
• East Coast Supra order number
• Return preference: UPS or FedEx Overnight
• Requested insurance amount: full replacement value

Recommended additions include the order confirmation, a photo or printed copy of the ECU label, tune notes and the preferred tuning platform if known.

Place the ECU in an anti-static bag when available, then wrap it in clean bubble wrap. Do not allow tape to contact the pins, plugs or ECU label. Place it in a snug inner box with padding on every side, then double-box it with at least two inches of padding around the inner box. Seal every seam with strong packing tape.

1. Reinstall the ECU in the factory mounting location.
2. Reconnect every labeled connector in its original position.
3. Confirm each connector is fully seated and locked.
4. Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
5. Start the vehicle and check for warnings.
6. Follow the tuning instructions provided by East Coast Supra and Mikey Botti.

Do not flash the vehicle until the ECU unlock has been confirmed complete.
